A Creative Challenge

or should I say, Co Declutterers,

Wisdom Wednesday: 

The word “decluttering” brings to my mind the image of boxes and bags being dumped out of a house. The house sighs with relief! Getting rid of the junk is a good first step. If to clutter means to “fill with confusion,” to declutter might mean to “restore order.” ~ Kathy Ridpath

Wow what a wonderful week so far… just enough much needed rain, and sunshine has returned today. Which in turn means HOT! HOT! HOT!

Did you do some decluttering? You have to be really creative when you declutter…I did heaps and made a very teeny tiny dent on my craft cupboard. If it is too overwhelming, or you have put this one in the too hard basket, try one room at a time, one cupboard or even one draw at a time. One small step leads to a bigger result. Go for it. You never know what will come to fill that space. We got a phone call to say 2 people are coming to inspect our house! (it’s 4 sale) Woo Hoo! UH OH more cleaning. I can highly recommend selling your home, it is great for decluttering. Ha Ha Ha…

Collecting is so much fun, old magazines are great for graphics, words, phrases & letters to make up fun stuff. Old ribbons, strings, cords, broken jewels, shells, sand, cardboard and beads, just to name a few items of distinction.

Enjoy filling up the decluttered spaces with more up to date, Need to Keep bits and pieces…

Manic Monday: And the Challenge is? Creative Collections…Creative Spaces…

Stop for a moment and ponder.

Creative Collections and Spaces, help keep your Creative Light bright. Your Creative Space is an important part of your creativity… A personal space is great if you can attract it. A room, an office, a shed, a garage, a corner and a cupboard,  somewhere just for you. One thing I try to do regularly is declutter, clear out the old to bring in the new. Well it works sometimes and then other times, ummmm… shall we say are not so successful….

You may remember what I said back in Week 2 about clutter and hoading.. I recycled an old stand I had for the calendar. I had held onto it for years saying I’ll recycle that one day, sometimes the things you hoard, are given a new life. I tell myself that anyway. I may change my mind when the house sells and I am packing the hoarded creativity into boxes…and boxes and boxes and boxes… 

Off you go, get started. Declutter, reorganize, collect fresh new clutter for creating all your dreams and goals for Twenty Ten.

My version: So here is a bit of a peek into my creative spaces and collections. I have started decluttering and packing and sorting so a little messy in places but thats ME… dadar!!!

Remember you can do as much or as little as you like. It is all about simple creative success. Having some fun and Ticking off your goals list and celebrating those dreams and goals throughout the year.
