Magic Monday: And your Creative Challenge is? “Making Totem Poles”

Stop for a moment and ponder.

“One way to create your world around you, is to create your world around you.“

Living your world around you? So here’s a creative way to display just that. I found some old cardboard cylinders, large ones from laminating rolls. You could use smaller inner rolls from clingwrap or alfoil. You could also try old postage cylinders. Once you have decided what you would like to use the fun begins. Think about a theme if you like. I used 4 different meaningful themes,  for each of my family. Happy smiling faces, surf pictures, black and white wine fotos, funky people and purple. Cut out and collage lots of magazine fotos and glue them onto the cylinders. Fun…

Remember you can do as much or as little as you like. It is all about simple creative success. Having some fun and Ticking off your goals list and celebrating those dreams and goals throughout the year.

OMG I am finding so many ways to express creativity in a such a way that it is being positive and keeping your world in a an awesome frame of mind. You can do so much with words, colours and pictures, collaging it all together to make it a work of art to read and see each day. Have some more fun being creative and enjoy every moment you share with

Remember you can do as much or as little as you like. It is all about simple creative success. Having some fun and ticking off your goals list and celebrating those dreams and goals throughout the year. This is a great folder to keep on a coffee table and share with all your friends and family.

Magic Monday: And your Creative Challenge is? “Hand Decorating”

Stop for a moment and ponder.

“Your hands are the most creative part of you, except of course your mind.“

Yes our hands do all the work but our minds start the inspired thinking that moves us onto our handy crafts. Today we celebrate the work our hands do for us by decorating our hands. In ancient times and modern in some places it is an honor, and spiritual  to have your hands painted. You could paint yours with local henna or you could trace your hands on coloured or white paper, cut them out and decorate them. There are some really kool ideas for these. You can laminate each family members hands and stick them on a wall or in a scrapbook. It shows what you were thinking about at the time. It’s great to see all the finished products. I have done this with groups of children and it is amazing the different results you get from each persons interpretation of celebrating their hands. 

My Version…

Remember to think about your reasons for doing what you do…You are welcome to do as much or as little as you like. It is all about simple creative success. Having some fun and Ticking off your goals list and celebrating those dreams and goals throughout the year.
