Challenge

In your “Creative Art from the heART Journal”  think about words that mean something to you.

Have you chosen your word for 2011. I did in the first week of the year. My word was

DESIGN!

How amazing is it to choose a word to live by and focus energy on, then to have it pop up in random places. 

So far this year…

I’m studying with the ” Interior DESIGN Institute “ 

I  am going to be an “ Interior DESIGNer “

I now work  as a Property Manager for ” DESIGN Real Estate “

I can’t wait to see what else DESIGN has in store for me!

It’s never to late to choose your word to focus on. Go for it!

Challenge

Today or anyday for that matter, get into your “Creative Art from the heART Journal”

I challenge you to take your Creative ART from the heART  journal with you where ever you go today. Find stolen moments to be creative, write, sketch or do something random in your journal today from somewhere away from the comfort zone of your home. Maybe you have a doctors appointment, you have to pick up the kids, you’re in the line up at the bank, or you’re waiting to have your hair done. Slip out your journal while you wait. Get creative, you have the time to relax and put something down on paper to reflect where you are right now. It will feel scary, you will be very secretive, so no one sees what you’re up to and you may write or sketch something very different.

Just head out today, try it and see

You never know this just might be

Something you don’t want to hide

You may even be quite surprised

Creative ART from the heART Journal

Challenge

In your “Creative Art from the heART Journal”  consider the TIME…

The time it takes to get the kids ready, the time it takes to get to work, the time it takes to cook dinner, the time it takes to do the housework, the time it takes to get a good nites sleep, ready to do it all again tomorrow.

 How much time can you realistically dedicate to your creative work each week? 

Time management, just the ticking over of it sounds very professional and gobsmacking all at the same time. Time can be a curse or it can be an angel. It’s just the way you treat it.

 Time when you are working, living day by day, waiting for a weekend or holiday… sooooo slow! 

Time on the weekend or when you are enjoying that holiday… soooooooo fast!                     

Here’s a challenge for you. Write down all the activites you accomplish in one day, and how long they take you.  Then see how much time you have spare. Then think about the activities, relationships, experiences you would like to have in this scenario. What would you like to spend more time doing? Write them all down on the opposite side of your  journal.

Here’s just one quick and simple tip to finding some extra time for you….

Diarise your day! Put down all the the stuff that needs to be done. All that stuff that just takes time.

Best done the night before, answer this question “What do I want to accomplish tomorrow?”  Your sub conscious mind will work on it overnite and have a plan for you the next morning when you check to see what exactly you wrote down.

Wake up and actually look at your Diary and see what needs to be done. Get started.

Start with the hard stuff first, get it out of the way and move onto the easier stuff.

You should find that things will flow alot easier and you won’t be running around chasing your tail or checking you clocks. And best of all you will find time for you, to do the things that you want to do.

Make sure to make time for you to spend on your personal time. Crafting, painting, exercising, or socializing. Relaxation and Enjoyment, whatever that is for you. Give yourself the time to make it happen. You must be happy so you can continue to give yourself the best chance to give your best self to others. You are no help to anyone if you are always doing doing doing time for others and not giving time for yourself.

I hope you enjoy this challenge, go write it out, make a diary entry right now, start right now. I know you can. I know you want to. I know you will. I know you just got up to go get your diary didn’t you. Way to go woohoo…

Remember ART up the pages to give it that personalized feel and you have to add heART to your ART.

Okay so we are getting close to the end of the month. What have you achieved so far in your journal this month? Did you complete the challenge and ART up the pages to your heART’s desire.

Let’s get ready for March? Don’t panic you still have time to complete February’s challenge and be fresh and clear for your next Creative Challenge in 2011.

Go for it, ART up the pages, do the stuff and play all out. Have some fun….

Find your “Creative Art from the heART Journal” are you ready to start off February with a blast. Ok you’ve had your blast from the past last month. Now it is time to put down your intentions for 2011.

The reason we put all the positive accomplishments for 2010 was that they are our highs and highlights for the year. So this is where we start.

“2010 HIGHS become 2011 lows”

Okay do you get my drift. Whatever you write down now becomes your intention for the year ahead. This is about the feelings and great times you wish to have. This includes 

The person you want to BE.

The things you want to DO.

The material goals you wish to HAVE.

  If you could predict YOUR year, what would YOU like to happen?

You have the opportunity now to write down your goals, dreams, ambitions, wishes, intentions, experiences, things, whatever it is that makes you feel good, and excited and a little bit scared all at the same time. Go for it! YOU have the ability to make it happen, you can manifest whatever you want… Believe…

So I give you the GENIE who lives inside YOU

and he says to YOU,

That is correct your wish is your genies command. You can BE DO & HAVE anything your heart desires. Give it a go…

Challenge

In your “Creative Art from the heART Journal” list everything you accomplished in 2010 that made you proud. Everything that made you feel good about yourself, happy to be alive and excited to move on to the next experience. This may take one page or many depending on how deep you want to travel into your inner world.

You may have lots of little accomplishments, or you may have just one HUGE goal that you achieved for the year. Whatever it is JOURNAL IT. Be really descriptive about it, add the thoughts, the feelings, the ideas that made it happen. This is a very powerful exercise in that, you will begin to understand the nature of the way it came to materialize.  

Have some fun with it of course, play your favourite music, drink your favourite beverage and add some colour, texture and heART felt ART to the pages. Remember this is a private, personal space for you to record your innermost thoughts, feelings, dreams and life experiences.

Go into your personal Creative Space and fly around in there, create from the heART. You will be surprised what you come up with.
