Week 46 Past Present Future Cube

Monday, November 15th, 2010

Hey Hello Co Creators,

Magic Monday: And your Creative Challenge is? “A Little Black Cube”

Stop for a moment and ponder.

One way to create your world around you, is to create your world around you.

~donna lingard

Little Black Box of Memories….This is a cute way to display some photos or special words or maybe sharing your memories. You could make it a Past Cube, a Present Cube or a Future Cube.

As always it is up to you to make it your own individual peice. It is simple to make. Find a box or make a cube out of cardboard cutoffs. Taping it together then painting it what ever colour you choose. Once you have the box made up you can add what you like to it. Pictures, photos, stamp it, write on it, draw on it, just decorate it with the things that mean something to you now. You have 6 sides to play with.

Whatever…

Remember you can do as much or as little as you like. It is all about simple creative success. Having some fun and ticking off your goals list and celebrating those dreams and goals throughout the year.

Week 45 All about Me

Monday, November 8th, 2010

Hello Co Creators,

Magic Monday: And your Creative Challenge is? “It’s all about ME”

Stop for a moment and ponder.

One way to create your world around you, is to create your world around you.

~donna lingard

Here’s a pretty kool challenge. Its all about “YOU”. Well this idea can be challenging in itself. Thinking about yourself. What do you like, what do you do, what do you want, what do you want to see. I have put interesting bits in mine about my favourite things, like coffee sachets, special event tickets, fashion. You can put whatever you want in yours. It is a reflection of who you are today. Include your dreams and goals, but also what you are doing at the moment.

Take a look at mine…Sorry not getting to personal, front covers only of two I have done recently. And my favourite colour is?

Remember you can do as much or as little as you like. It is all about simple creative success. Having some fun and ticking off your goals list and celebrating those dreams and goals throughout the year.

“Power Of Words Of Wisdom” this says it all. Words of Wisdom are so powerful. You can make up your own words of wisdom and put them onto cards. I have special packs that are awesome. They are something that I can pull out anytime and read one and get a quick fix or a quick idea and a feeling to move on with my day and survive what ever the world has to throw at me.

Week 39 Words of Wisdom

Wednesday, September 29th, 2010

Hi Co Creators,

Wisdom Wednesday: ” Vizualizing”

This weeks wisdom “The Park Bench”

I hope you enjoy this awesome story…

The Park Bench
Poet: Unkown

Beneath the long, straggly branches of an old willow tree.
Disillusioned by life with good reason to frown,
For the world was intent on dragging me down.
And if that weren’t enough to ruin my day,
A young boy out of breath approached me, all tired from play.
He stood right before me with his head tilted down
And said with great excitement, “Look what I found!”

In his hand was a flower, and what a pitiful sight,
With its petals all worn – not enough rain, or too little light.
Wanting him to take his dead flower and go off to play,
I faked a smile and then shifted away.
But instead of retreating he sat next to my side
And placed the flower to his nose and declared with overacted surprise,
“It sure smells pretty and it’s beautiful too.
That’s why I picked it; here, it’s for you.”

The weed before me was dying or dead.
Not vibrant of colors: orange, yellow or red.
But I knew I must take it, or he might never leave.
So I reached for the flower, and replied, “Just what I need.”
But instead of him placing the flower in my hand,
He held it mid-air without reason or plan.
It was then that I noticed for the first time
That weed-toting boy could not see he was blind.

I heard my voice quiver; tears shone in the sun
As I thanked him for picking the very best one.
“You’re welcome,” he smiled, and then ran off to play,
Unaware of the impact he’d had on my day.
I sat there and wondered how he managed to see
A self-pitying woman beneath an old willow tree.
How did he know of my self-indulged plight?
Perhaps from his heart, he’d been blessed with true sight.

Through the eyes of a blind child, at last I could see
The problem was not with the world; the problem was me.
And for all of those times I myself had been blind,
I vowed to see the beauty in life, and appreciate every second that’s mine.
And then I held that wilted flower up to my nose
And breathed in the fragrance of a beautiful rose
And smiled as I watched that young boy, another weed in hand,
About to change the life of an unsuspecting old man.

W39 Vizualization

Monday, September 27th, 2010

Hey Hello Co Creators,

Magic Monday: And your Creative Challenge is? “VIZUALIZE it”

Stop for a moment and ponder.

One way to create your world around you, is to vizualize your world around you.

~donna lingard

One of my all time favorite ways to focus on something that I want to come into my world is to vizualise it.  Sit sown turn on the background music, imagine you are where you want to be, what you want to do and what you want to come into your world. Think about it. Imagine it. Receive it. Love it.

I love Andy Dooley and his inspirational art work.
